Intimate Prince Edward County Wedding

I loved photographing this intimate Prince Edward County wedding so much! Clarke and Clarke discovered their wedding venue by chance when they were searching for new dining experiences to enjoy and stumbled upon The Royal’s online menu. They were smitten after their first visit there and decided the beautiful, stylish Royal Hotel in Picton was the perfect venue for their upcoming intimate Prince Edward County wedding.

My connection with Clarke began as a referral from past intimate wedding clients, Kayleigh and David, which filled my heart with such gratitude and love. A few minutes into our initial phone conversation we discovered another connection—Clarke had worked for several years at one of my absolute favourite venues; Lang Pioneer Village Museum and knew several members of my family!

The day of Clarke and Chris’s wedding was beautiful. The sun was shining and although it was May, the temperature was warm. I met the happy couple outside The Royal on Main Street in Picton, Ontario. We spent the next hour roaming around the beautiful and picturesque little town using light and shadow, and the quaint architecture to create fine art portraits of them together that showed their love and connection. With only a few minutes to spare, we hurried inside to capture some portraits set against the backdrop of The Royal.

Chris and Clare’s ceremony was held in the intimate back gazebo area. Surrounded by close family members, they shared their personal vows to each other. There were tears and laughter, hugs and so many beautiful connections. It was truly an honour to capture their memories for them.
