So much energy goes into planning and orchestrating a wedding! Whether it’s a large event with hundreds of guests or an intimate backyard wedding with a few family members and friends, finding the right vendors is essential to enjoying your wedding day. Having photographed hundreds of weddings over the years, I’ve collaborated with many wonderful wedding venues, florists, make-up artists, caterers and officiants. Below is a list of some of my favourite wedding vendors in Peterborough and the Kawarthas!
Venues
Lang is one of my absolute favourite venues to shoot in. The village has it all; beautiful backdrops, a flowing river and incredible lighting. There are 3 gorgeous wedding ceremony locations to choose from; the Mill lawn, the Glen Alda Church and the Peterborough County Agricultural Barn. Lang is truly stunning in every season and appeals to couples who love nature, beautiful lighting and architecture.
Elmhirst Resort offers the vibe of a cottage wedding without all of the stress and planning. The outdoor ceremony site overlooks beautiful rice lake and there are such beautiful secret spots for couple photos. The sunsets are to absolutely die for!
The Millbrook Cathedral offers 2 beautiful ceremony locations; inside the historic church or outside under the towering trees. The Cathedral offers a traditional wedding ceremony space with a twist of boho vibe.
Caterers
Amazing farm to table wedding catering service. Their delicious food is 100% locally sourced & the team is incredible.
Award winning caterer who specializes in smoked entrees. They also provide a creative and delicious selection of vegan and gluten-free menu options.
